Massachusetts Inventors Develop Dual Source X-Ray Fluorescence System

ALEXANDRIA, Va., Oct. 25 -- Bradley Hubbard-Nelson of Concord, Mass., and Peter John Hardman of Woburn, Mass., have developed an x-ray fluorescence technique.
According to the abstract released by the U.S. Patent & Trademark Office: "A dual source tube x-ray fluorescence system and method wherein a first x-ray source is employed to direct x-rays in a first energy band at a sample and at least a second x-ray source is employed to direct x-rays in a second energy band at the sample. . . .
