GENEVA, Oct. 25 - Dan Sachs of Minneapolis has developed an implantable medical device.
According to an abstract posted by the World Intellectual Property Organization, the invention relates to an "implantable medical device for treating the back of a patient. Stimulation energy is delivered to muscles or joint capsules or ligaments or nerve fibers to improve the heath of the back."
The invention carries International Patent Publication No. WO/2008/112178 on Sept. 1 . . .
