Co-op Education Lets Students Learn While They Earn

MERCED, Calif., Aug. 17 -- Merced College issued the following news release:
Most students will have to work either part- or full-time during the course of their collegiate careers. The co-op education program allows students to earn transferable college credits for their real-world learning experiences.
Depending on the number of hours a student works or volunteers during the week, they can earn 2, 3 or 4 elective units while earning their paychecks.
