AUSTIN, Texas, June 26 -- The Texas Democratic Party issued the following press document:
The City of Houston voted to join Democratic cities to defend Texans against the "Show Me Your Papers" law, S.B. 4.
As reported by the Houston Chronicle, "Houston City Council voted Wednesday to sue the state over its new "sanctuary cities" law, joining Texas' three other largest cities in challenging the controversial measure.
