SAN FRANCISCO, Sept. 18 -- The Public Policy Institute of California issued the following news release:
Over the next decade, California is expected to need nearly 450,000 new health care workers--due in part to expanded coverage under the Affordable Care Act but mainly to the growth and aging of the state's population.
