WASHINGTON, April 27 -- Rep. Mia Love, R-Utah, issued the following statement:
"This week, I introduced H.R2172, the Focusing the Fed on the Currency of the United States Act of 2017, or the "FFOCUS Act" for short. This bill very simply restores Congress' original instructions to the Federal Reserve Board by eliminating the mandate - added in 1978 - to include "maximum employment" as one of its explicit policy goals.
