TORONTO, Feb. 28 -- York University issued the following news release:
Today, Rick Waugh, Chair of York University's Board of Governors, announced the appointment of Dr. Rhonda Lenton as the next President and Vice-Chancellor of York University, effective July 1, 2017, for a five-year term. Lenton becomes York's eighth president, succeeding Dr. Mamdouh Shoukri.
