SACRAMENTO, Calif., Dec. 8 -- The Council on American-Islamic Relations issued the following news release:

The California chapter of the Council on American-Islamic-Relations (CAIR-CA), the nation's largest Muslim civil rights and advocacy organization, issued a statement welcoming the proposed pro-immigrant legislation presented by Senate President pro Tempore Kevin de Leon, Senator Ben Hueso, Speaker of the Assembly Anthony Rendon, and Assemblymember Rob Bonta.
