Sen. Sessions Issues Statement on Supreme Court Ruling on Executive Amnesty

WASHINGTON, June 23 -- The office of Sen. Jeff Sessions, R-Ala., issued the following statement on the Supreme Court ruling affirming in a 4-4 split the decision of the U.S. Court of Appeals for the Fifth Circuit, which upheld Judge Andrew Hanen's injunction that blocked President Obama's executive amnesty program:
"Today's decision in United States v. Texas is not just a victory for Texas, Alabama, and a majority of the States in this great nation who challenged the lawless . . .
