CHARLOTTE, N.C., May 14 -- Johnson C. Smith University issued the following news release:

Charlotte's Web, a technology mentorship initiative at Johnson C. Smith University, has received a $172,000 grant from Project L.I.F.T. to serve 40 rising 9th and 10th graders from West Charlotte High School starting this fall.
