U.S. AIR FORCE ACADEMY, Colo., May 14 -- The U.S. Air Force Academy issued the following news release:
Warrior Games cyclists braved snow and near-freezing weather at the Air Force Academy May 13 to take part in a series of 20k and 10k races.
Senior Master Sgt. Mitchell Sanders took the Air Force's first gold medal of the inaugural Warrior Games, winning the 10k recumbent cycling event with a time of 24:03.
