MADISON, Wis., April 26 -- The Wisconsin Department of Natural Resources issued the following news release:
The state Department of Natural Resources is hosting two open house meetings in May, at Steuben in Crawford County, to solicit public comment on the proposed Lower Kickapoo Wildlife and Farming Heritage Area.
The project would mix protected conservation lands with privately-owned farms to provide lasting benefits for the area. Project goals include:
