WASHINGTON, April 26 -- The office of Sen. Tom Harkin, D-Iowa, issued the following news release:
Senator Tom Harkin (D-IA) today announced that a total of $18,455 will be coming to the City of Seymour in Wayne County and the City of Northwood in Worth County to improve public safety. The funding comes from the U.S. Department of Agriculture's Community Facility Program. Harkin is a senior member of the panel that funds rural development initiatives.
