Girl Scouts Dedicate Tree at New Police Headquarters

FRANKLIN, Tenn., April 26 -- The city of Franklin issued the following news release:
On Tuesday, 04/27/2010 a local Girl Scout troop will be dedicating a tree at the new Franklin Police Headquarters, 900 Columbia Ave at 4:00 pm. The tree was purchased by the Girl Scouts with money raised from their annual Girl Scout Cookie Sale.
Several officers will be on hand as the girls plant the tree. Members of the media as well as the public are encouraged to attend the cerem . . .
