MARYVILLE, Mo., Oct. 28 -- Northwest Missouri State University issued the following news release:
Poet Paige Ackerson-Kiely will read from her work during a Visiting Writer's Series event at 7 p.m. Tuesday, Nov. 11, in the J.W. Jones Student Union Ballroom. The reading is free and open to the public.
The author's first book of poems, "In No One's Land," received the 2006 Sawtooth Poetry Prize, and she has also received awards from the Vermont Arts Council . . .
