SPRINGFIELD, Mo., Dec. 18 -- Missouri State University issued the following news release:
Missouri State University will grant its ninth and tenth honorary doctorates to Jan Horton and Patti Penny. The nominations were approved today (Dec. 19) by the Missouri State University Board of Governors following recommendations from the Faculty Senate and President Michael T. Nietzel.
Horton and Penny will both receive the Doctor of Public Affairs during the spring commenc . . .
