BAGHDAD, Iraq, Dec. 2 -- The U.S. Army 1st Armored Division issued the following news release:
Coalition forces removed three wanted men from al-Qaeda in Iraq's leadership networks during operations Monday and Tuesday which also led to the detention of five additional suspects.
Two separate operations Monday targeted AQI's leadership networks in northern Iraq. During the first operation in Bayji, 160 km south of Mosul, Coalition forces detained two suspect . . .
