MOSUL, Iraq, Dec. 3 -- The U.S. Army 1st Armored Division issued the following news release:
The story of a 13-year-old girl, who claimed to have been kidnapped by terrorists in Baghdad, was later found to be false.
The girl, whose name is being withheld, said she had been kidnapped by "bad guys" and brought to Mosul in the trunk of an Opel car.
After questioning by the Iraqi Army and local authorities, the girl admitted to being a runaway f . . .
