BAGRAM AIR FIELD, Afghanistan, Dec. 5 -- The U.S. Army Special Operations Command issued the following news release:
Afghan National Security Forces, assisted by Coalition forces, detained three suspected insurgents in Shindand district, Herat province Dec. 3.
In an early morning operation targeting enemies of Afghanistan, elements of the Afghan National Army Commandos conducted a raid on a suspected headquarters of an IED cell operating in the Zer-e-koh Valley.
