EVANSVILLE, Ind., Sept. 29 -- University of Southern Indiana issued the following news release:
Two University of Southern Indiana Army ROTC cadets have ranked high on the Order of Merit List for the state of Indiana.
A ranking defines which area of the Army a cadet will commission. Commissioning is the process in which cadets, once they graduate from college, become Army officers.
