LUBBOCK, Texas, Dec. 10 -- California State University Sacramento issued the following press release:
Junior infielder Gabe Jacobo and senior outfielder Ryan Blair were both named to the preseason watch list for the Brooks Wallace Award, as announced on Dec. 7 by the College Baseball Foundation.
Jacobo played in each of the Hornet's 56 games last season while hitting .363. He recorded 81 hits with 14 home runs and 12 doubles. He also registered a .623 slugging perce . . .
