ATHENS, Ohio, Nov. 25 -- Ohio University issued the following news release:

Classified Senate will hold a workshop on Wednesday, Dec. 3, that teaches non-bargaining classified employees and Athens County K-12 administrators how to react during an active shooter situation.

Ohio University Police Department Sgt. Brian Kapple will instruct participants on how to react during an active shooter situation using the alert, lockdown, inform, counter and escape (ALICE) strat . . .
