MONTGOMERY, Ala., Feb. 16 -- Auburn University at Montgomery issued the following news release:
Things were looking good for the AUM baseball team. Stephen Yates pitched six innings allowing only one hit, AUM led 7-1 going into the eighth and all was well.
Four errors, 14 batters and nine runs later, AUM had worked its way from a 7-1 lead into a 10-7 deficit, one which they never recovered from in the 10-7 loss.
In that one inning alone, AUM surrender . . .
