QUINCY, Ill., Nov. 1 -- Quincy University issued the following news release:
The Quincy University women's basketball team put a scare into their Drake University in an exhibition game on Saturday in Des Moines, Iowa. The Lady Hawks held a lead as late as 9-minutes left in the game against their NCAA Division I foe before Drake was able to pull together for the five point win.
Quincy hung with Drake throughout the first-half with Drake's largest lead coming mid-way . . .
