OSKALOOSA, Iowa, Nov. 15 -- Quincy University issued the following news release:
The Quincy University football team accomplished a first in program history today with their 45-42 win over William Penn University; recording their third consecutive winning season. The Hawks Alex Beard hit a 33-yard field goal as time expired to give the Hawks the win and close the 2008 season out with a 6-5 record.
