JACKSONVILLE, Fla., Dec. 1 -- Virginia Polytechnic Institute and State University issued the following news release:
Much like the first matchup on Oct. 25th at Lane Stadium, Saturday's ACC Championship between Virginia Tech and Boston College came down to the wire, but this time the Hokies came out on top, winning 30-16 to claim the conference title and secure a berth in the Orange Bowl.
The Hokies scored 14 fourth-quarter points and recorded two late interceptions . . .
