BLACKSBURG, Va., Dec. 11 -- Virginia Polytechnic Institute and State University issued the following news release:
A pair of standouts on the Virginia Tech defense are a part of the 2007 Associated Press All-America Team announced Tuesday by the press agency. Junior cornerback Brandon Flowers and senior linebacker Xavier Adibi were both honored as Flowers made the second team and Adibi the third team.
