BLACKSBURG, Va., Aug. 12 -- Virginia Polytechnic Institute and State University issued the following news release:
Overall play was marred by some fumbles and some dropped passes, but Josh Oglesby scored on a touchdown run and blocked a punt, Matt Waldron hit three field goals, and Tech's defense played well as the Virginia Tech Hokies held their first scrimmage of the preseason at Lane Stadium on Tuesday afternoon.
