WHITEWATER, Wis., Oct. 8 -- The University of Wisconsin-Whitewater issued the following news release:
UW-Whitewater overcame a scoreless first half to defeat Illinois Wesleyan University 2-1 Wednesday at Fiskum Field in Whitewater, Wisconsin.
The Warhawks and Titans played to a scoreless draw in the first half.
IWU got on the board first with a goal by John Blodgett, assisted by Chris Sleezer, at 65:00.
