EVANSVILLE, Ind., Jan. 26 -- University of Southern Indiana issued the following news release:
The University of Southern Indiana men's basketball team used a 9-0 run in the final four minutes to defeat Southern Illinois University Edwardsville, 74-69, Saturday afternoon at the Physical Activities Center. The victory raised the Screaming Eagles' record to 10-7 overall and 4-5 in the GLVC, breaking the team's five-game losing streak, while the Cougars fell to 8-8 overall, 2-7 GLVC. . . .
