ATLANTA, April 6 -- University System of Georgia of Georgia Perimeter College issued the following news release:
Duel wins in pitching duels. That's the headline for a dandy doubleheader by the Georgia Perimeter College women's softball team on Sunday in Barnesville.
Pitcher Kim Hobbs (7-8) collected both wins as the Lady Jaguars downed Gordon College 1-0 and 3-2.
Hobbs went the distance in the opener, and all she needed was Chelsea Hawkins' home run . . .
