TOMAHAWK, RHINELANDER-BASED ARMY NATIONAL GUARD UNIT MOBILIZES FOR SERVICE IN AFGHANISTAN

MADISON, Wis., Nov. 25 -- The Wisconsin Department of Military Affairs issued the following news release:

Senior National Guard officials will be joined by Lt. Gov. Barbara Lawton for a send-off of approximately 100 Wisconsin Army National Guard soldiers Sunday [Nov. 30], 11 a.m., at the Rhinelander High School, 665 Coolidge Ave., Rhinelander.

The soldiers are assigned to the 951st Sapper Company from Tomahawk and Rhinelander and will be mobilizing for approximately . . .
