BLACKSBURG, Va., Dec. 6 -- Virginia Polytechnic Institute and State University issued the following news release:
The Virginia Tech women's basketball team entered its final exam break on a good note by defeating North Carolina A&T by a score of 85-56 on Wednesday night at Cassell Coliseum.
Now a third of the way through the regular season, the Hokies sit at a comfortable 8-1 heading into the stretch run of the semester, and return to action on Dec. 16 at Charlo . . .
