RALEIGH, N.C., Jan. 25 -- Virginia Polytechnic Institute and State University issued the following news release:
Virginia Tech and NC State met on Friday night at Reynolds Coliseum with both looking for their first ACC win of the season, but it was the Wolfpack that came away with it, prevailing by a score of 60-50 to move to 13-7 overall, 1-4 in conference. The Hokies dropped to 13-8 overall, and to 0-6 in league play for the first time in program history.
