WHITEWATER, Wis., Sept. 23 -- The University of Wisconsin-Whitewater issued the following news release:
Won-Loss: UW-Whitewater is 2-0 overall, and 1-0 in the Wisconsin Intercollegiate Athletic Conference. Puget Sound (WA), a member of the Northwestern Conference, is also 2-0 overall but has not yet played any conference games.
The Coaches: Lance Leipold, 2-0 this season, is in his second season as head coach at UW-W. Leipold led Whitewater to a national championsh . . .
