BLACKSBURG, Va., Feb. 26 -- Virginia Polytechnic Institute and State University issued the following news release:
The Virginia Tech men's basketball team played arguably its best second half of the season, holding Boston College to just nine field goals in the second half and shooting better than 50 percent for most of the final 20 minutes en route to an easy 67-48 victory over the Eagles in an ACC game played at Cassell Coliseum on Tuesday night.
