MIAMI, Feb. 12 -- University of Miami of Miller School of Medicine issued the following news release:
Bascom Palmer Eye Institute and two other Centers of Excellence from the University of Miami Miller School of Medicine were recognized for their innovative work into clinical and scientific medical practices recently as the Department of Defense awarded the group $4.8 million to the group. Bascom Palmer's share totaled $2 million. The other UM centers are the William Lehman Injury . . .
