SAN JUAN, Puerto Rico, Nov. 23 -- Virginia Polytechnic Institute and State University issued the following news release:
Virginia Tech lost to Seton Hall, 77-73, in the final round of the 2008 O'Reilly Auto Parts Puerto Rico Tip Off in San Juan on Sunday. Tech falls to 3-2 overall and the Pirates are now 4-1 overall.
The Hokies jumped out to a 31-17 lead with eight minutes remaining before intermission, but Seton Hall used pressure defense to cut the margin to 40-34 . . .
