ATLANTA, Nov. 15 -- University System of Georgia of Georgia Perimeter College issued the following news release:
The Georgia Perimeter College men's basketball team weathered an initial flurry from Chipola College and made a game of it against the No. 2-ranked team in the National Junior College Athletic Association preseason coaches poll.
But the Jaguars ultimately succumbed 72-62 Saturday on the second day of their Tip-Off Classic on the Decatur Campus.
