Cavalier senior defender Claire Bordley was named the state Player of the Year by the Virginia Sports Information Directors (VaSID), the organization announced today. Bordley is the fifth consecutive Cavalier to be named the state Player of the Year, while a pair of members of the William & Mary lacrosse program, head coach Christine Halfpenny and midfielder Grace Golden, were honored . . .
