CHARLOTTESVILLE, Va., July 17 -- The University of Virginia issued the following news release:
Ben Rubeor has been named the 2008 Atlantic Coast Conference Men's Lacrosse Scholar-Athlete of the Year as announced today by commissioner John D. Swofford.
Rubeor headlines six Cavaliers named to the conference's all-academic squad. He graduated in May with a degree in English. He is a three-time ACC All-Academic team selection and was named a second-team Academic All-Am . . .
