BIG RAPIDS, Mich., Aug. 28 -- Ferris State University issued the following press release:
The Ferris State women's volleyball team opened the 2008 season on a successful note with a 25-17, 25-22, 25-14 sweep of Aquinas this Thursday (Aug. 28) evening at FSU's Ewigleben Sports Arena in Big Rapids, Mich.
The Bulldogs (1-0 overall) won their season opener for the 17 time in the last 19 seasons with the non-conference victory.
