LEBANON, Ill., Nov. 11 -- McKendree University issued the following news release:
McKendree University has lost perhaps its greatest fan.
Mr. Wayne Bise ('38), an alumnus and honorary coach known and beloved as "Mr. McKendree," passed away on Nov. 10 in St. Louis. He was 92.
Formerly of Chesterfield, he resided in recent years at Garden Villas South retirement community in St. Louis County.
