HUNTINGTON BEACH, Calif., Nov. 21 -- The Huntington Beach Police Department issued the following news release:
The Huntington Beach Police Department will be making an extra effort to keep our streets safe for everyone. Officers will be conducting a sobriety checkpoint on Friday, November 21, 2008.
It is the hope of the Department's Traffic Bureau to avoid serious injury and fatal collisions by interdicting DUI drivers before they have the chance to cause a tragedy. . . .
