FRANKFORT, Ky., Oct. 16 -- The Kentucky Department of Fish & Wildlife Resources issued the following news release:
Many drivers have experienced it. You are slowly navigating a curvy road just after sunset. Suddenly, you hit the brakes just in time to miss a deer frozen in your headlights. The deer stands transfixed, and you are unsure what to do. Perhaps you blow the horn or flip your bright lights on for a moment before the deer finally bounds away.
