BURLINGTON, Vt., Oct. 11 -- The University of Vermont issued the following news release:
Senior Maegan Luce (Hartford, Vt.) tallied a pair of goals to lift the University of Vermont field hockey team to a 2-1 victory in America East play over visiting Albany on Saturday afternoon at Moulton Winder Field. Luce scored once in each half to help the Catamounts improve to 6-6 overall and earn their first league win of the season (1-1), while the Great Danes drop to 7-8 and 1-1.
