WINSTON-SALEM, N.C., Nov. 18 -- The city of Winston-Salem issued the following news release:
The Winston-Salem Police Department has received an award from the National Association of Town Watch for the success of its National Night Out activities this past summer. Winston-Salem was one of 28 cities with a population between 100,000 and 299,000 to be honored for its National Night Out efforts; the city ranked 17th.
