HARRISBURG, Pa., Oct. 10 -- Pennsylvania State Rep. H. Scott Conklin, D-Centre (77th District), issued the following news release:
Centre County state Rep. Scott Conklin today announced that legislation he introduced to rename a local bridge was signed into law by Gov. Rendell on Thursday.
Conklin said the bill (H.B. 1723), now Act 112 of 2008, renames the bridge on state Route 322 linking Clearfield and Centre counties the Veterans' Memorial Bridge.
