MACOMB, Ill., Jan. 19 -- Western Illinois University issued the following news release:
Running back Herb Donaldson, place-kicker Taylor Rowan and linebacker Jason Williams were named Western Illinois' offensive, special teams and defensive most valuable players, respectively, at the annual football awards banquet which celebrated a 2007 season that saw the Leathernecks return to national prominence.
The defensive unit ended the season ranked among the nation's top . . .
