FORT RILEY, Kan., Jan. 2 -- Fort Riley issued the following news release:
Two Soldiers died Jan. 3 in As Sadiyah, Iraq, of wounds suffered when insurgents attacked their unit using small arms fire during combat operations.
Killed were:
Capt. Thomas J. Casey, 32.
Maj. Andrew J. Olmsted, 37.
Casey was military intelligence officer serving on a military transition team assigned to 1st Brigade, 1st Infantry Division. His home . . .
